Jim Croft’s response to those who take issues with his viewpoints relating to Islam - I have studied the Quran, Hadith, Islamic literature, am a student of world history, and have traveled to many Islamic countries. Every word of my articles and my book, “The Muslim Masquerade”, are supported by my personal investigations and the testimonies of ex-Muslims that can be found by going to http://www.faithfreedom.org/index.htm These brave folks put forth a challenge, if anyone can prove them wrong, they will remove their web-site from the Internet.
In addition, practicing Muslims from two continents have sent me letters after reading my article “Muslim Friend, Wake Up”. Each told me of their membership in organizations that sole purpose was to bring about a sorely needed reformation within Islam. Their stated reasons for calling for reformation, far before my articles and book were published, were the very points that I presented in the same: gender bias, human rights infractions, intolerance for other religions, toleration of slavery, barbarism toward those charged with crimes, and the Quran's and the Hadith's support for terrorism. Therefore unless, the verses of the Quran and Hadith are misrepresentations of Mohammed's revelations and actions, and thousands of ex-Muslims are liars, and those within Islam calling for its reformation don't know what its clerics teach and its holy books say - It is you, not I, that is misrepresenting the true nature of Islam.
Anyone that cares about human rights, peace on this planet, and the welfare of the community of mankind will agree with the truths presented in Ibn Warraq’s book, “Leaving Islam”. “It is indeed dangerous to humankind that nothing can stop Islam from breeding cruel killers time and time again. That is because many of the Prophet’s deeds and Koranic instruction are always alive there to act as fertile ground for breeding killers. I faced the truth of the mess of the Koran and Hadith. The Koran does not contain a single humane teaching that was not here before Islam. Mankind will not lose a single moral precept if Islam is not there tomorrow. After consulting the Koran, the Hadith, the Prophet’s biography, and Islamic history for years, with a guarded, open mind, I related the past to the present. People tried reforming Islam; it never worked. Again and again, Islam was mortgaged in the hands of killer leadership, while the rest of the Muslim world only said, “this is not real Islam”.
“Once again, the dual character of Islam became clear. Islam has two sets of teeth, like elephants. One is ivory, which makes it elegant and majestic; the other set of teeth is hidden inside its jaws, and is used to chew and crush. All those sweet peace talks of Islam relate to the time and place of weak Islam in early years. But whenever and wherever Muslims were and are strong, they have another set of cruel laws and conduct. Tell me why the national flags of many Muslim countries have swords on them – a sword is not for shaving beards, it’s only for killing”.
My friend, as you ponder these matters there are questions that you must resolve. What is it about Islam that causes its adherents to engage in, or to routinely acquiesce to, practices that other religions find objectionable? Does the content of the Quran have a greater tendency to enhance people’s compassion for their fellow man or their inclination for barbarism? Is there any objective evidence that God endorses Islam more than any other religion? If you had not been born into a Muslim family, would the overall quality of life demonstrated by the world’s Muslim populations attract you to Islam?
Hopefully, you are willing to engage in an experiment that has transformed the lives of thousands of Muslims. Ask God the Father to reveal Jesus to you through the power of the Holy Spirit. An Egyptian who was the Amir of the Islamic terrorist group Gamma Islameyya did so. You can read his testimony in Abdullah Al Araby’s book, “Snatched from the Lion’s Jaws”. Jesus walked into his room, enshrouded in a glorious light, and declared, “I am He for whom you have been searching”. The man’s life was revolutionized. Yours can be too. It is something wonderful, why shouldn’t you experience it?
